More About Our Technology
Laser Skin Tightening uses leading laser technology to heat the skin surface to 41 degrees - 65 degrees underneath the skin in the epidermis/dermis layer to promote collagen production. The heat will then metabolise unhealthy fibres and cells causing stimulation to the fibroblast cells (these produce collagen and elastin fibres). This process works to smooth fine lines, wrinkles and improve the overall texture of the skin.
Our skin tightening treatment has become a favorite with our clients. A warming sensation can occur; ask the clinic what to expect during treatment and recovery.

How it works
The procedure is non-invasive, the laser beam spreads to deeper layers of the dermis, and heats them, but without damaging the surface of the skin. It promotes active stimulation of new collagen production in deep layers of the dermis. The entire rejuvenation procedure takes between 20-30 minutes.

Preparation and aftercare
2 weeks prior to treatment:
No direct sun exposure and daily use of SPF 50+ Sunscreen.
Redness and heat in the skin normally subside within 3-4 hours. Post-treatment, it’s important to keep the skin cool, calm, and hydrated.
Immediately after treatment
- Avoid direct sun exposure, always protect the skin with a high-quality sunscreen with SPF 50+
- Avoid exercise, and heat on the treated area (hot showers, saunas)
- Follow the aftercare directions given by your laser specialist.
For optimum results, we recommend 6 treatments at fortnightly or monthly intervals.
Team up Skin Tightening with a Yellow LED Light Therapy treatment as an optional addition. Ask which combination is appropriate for your individual plan.

How does laser skin tightening work?
The laser is passed over the skin at a distance of approximately 1cm above the skin. This heats the skin without damaging it, stimulating the ‘wound healing response’ of the skin, causing collagen growth, and improving the appearance of the skin.
Can it be used in areas other than the face and neck?
Laser Skin Tightening can be used in any area where there is a loss of collagen.
How many treatments will I need?
We recommend a course of 4-6 treatments spaced at 1 month apart. Results last for approximately 6 months before a top-up appointment is required.

Why is this procedure called “fast facial rejuvenation”?
This is the optimal solution for businesslike and busy people who do not have time for complex aesthetic procedures. There is no post-procedure period – you can continue your work, meetings or long-planned vacations immediately. The skin of the face remains slightly reddish for just a few hours after the procedure, so even though there will be visible positive changes to your skin, nobody will notice that you have just visited the beauty clinic.
What is the difference between using an ablative laser rejuvenation and using a non-ablative laser?
In the case of ablative lasers, the laser radius affects not only deep layers of the skin, but also the surface of the skin. Using the non-ablative method, the GentleMax Pro Plus laser penetrates deeply into the dermal tissues, but does not damage the surface of the skin. This is possible due to the use of different wavelengths, as well as the fact that there is less water in the epidermis (10-15%) than in the deep layers of the skin (70-75%).
